Well, true about the course probably being doomed. However, if that's true, then why did he hide it? Why not tell the constituents what was going down, and giving them the opportunity counteroffer to keep the course? Then, he could sleep knowing that he at least gave them a heads up? But he couldn't because he is bought by the developers.

Look, he's a conservative guy and for that I like him. A lot of people that originally voted for him tried to get him repealed. All I'm saying is, if I were everyone, I'd expect that whatever happens, it's already decided by Ourso, and it's what he is being told to do. He's very much a old school good ole boys network, which most every politician is nowadays.

No go off and suck his d*ck.

I live off Pecue. I'm skeptical on the interchange at Pecue.
I like being able to get on the other side of the interstate without having to go on Highland or Siegen.

Perkins would need to be 4 laned bewteen highland and Siegen, Pecue widened to 4 lanes and Rieger Rd needs to connect Siegen to Highland. If all of this isn't done, then it's a stupid idea.
Hey, Teddy. I know that Perkins between Siegen and Highland is a project that is being talked about as well. I'm not certain how far it's gotten into planning or design, though.

As far as Pecue, it will be widened to 4 lanes as part of the Green Light Plan. That section of Pecue south of Airline that connects to the new Stumberg Extension is going to be carried through to the interchange. I'm not sure if the Pecue widening will be part of the interchange project or its separate project.

I'm not sure about Rieger Road.

An interchange at Bluff Road and another at Pecue would be great for relieving traffic congestion feeding the interstate in Prairieville. Three routes instead of the one at Highland. Or, four routes instead of the ones at Highland and Dutchtown, if you want to pick nits.

So this going to be like what they have around the mall and seigen? Not an actual on / off ramp on pecue? Curious as I take pecue to work and enjoy crossing over i10 and not having to sit in the traffic I see below. Would be sad if that begins to overflow onto pecue.

Slightly off topic, they need to extend the airline and stumberg / pecue green light duration by about 2 seconds in the afternoon (basically doubling it). It only allows about 3 or 4 cars through. With the extra traffic coming from stumberg it might take 2 or 3 light cycles to get through.

I'm not sure what the interchange will look like, but since there are no frontage roads in the area of Pecue I'd assume not. It would most likely either be a conventional diamond interchange (like Highland) or a half clover.

Call the DPW. There is even a way to give a complaint, HERE.

If you are on Pecue/Stumberg in the afternoon trying to cross Airline, unfortunately you are going to have to wait because of the time of day. The signals are configured to allow Airline to keep moving as much as possible.

Seems like a the worst possible spot for an interchange, so of course they will build it there,

It will connect Reiger Road. The interchange will be a diverging diamond interchange(DDI). The first of its kind in LA. Its pretty slick but
will rustle 70% of the OT's jimmies. You heard it here first.

like he said, just adding 2 or 3 seconds to it would suffice. I don't want it staying green forever either, but if there are 10 cars there it's 3 light cycles for that 10th car to get to go, which is a good 5 minutes. Just ridiculous. It's faster to turn right, and then make a uturn at industriplex.
right now people just run the shite out of that red light.
The other day it was red when i went through it, and 3 more cars behind me ran it as well.

I'd rather leave Pecue alone and do the interchange at Bluff Rd first.

Couldnt there be frontage roads that connect in with Reiger and North Mall Drive? That seems like a real no-brainer that should have been completed when that Walmart/Sams area was built.

That developer had their head up their arse. Only one light to control all the traffic heading into and out of the development and a five lane road around it which no one really uses because they would rather go down the broken up 3 lane road in the middle.

So much fail, so much fail.

You realize the interchange is already happening and it had nothing to do with Ourso, right? This interchange has been in planning for about 2 years + now. Ourso had no hand in it. It was a logical conclusion given the stumberg extension, otherwise, stumberg would have been useless, traffic flow wise.

Since you're "in the biz," would a "T" exit/entrance work there?

Sounds like he's in the pimping Darrell Ourso biz. It's the reason i didn't vote for him. Blatantly lying about the interchange only going through because of him.

Last meeting was about 3-5 months ago with narrowed down options. I'll try to find it.

Until people learn not to slow down on the interstate before getting off at the exit ramp and learn how to properly merge onto the interstate, I am completely against additional exits. Especially ones that are a half mile apart. These exits may decrease the traffic wait time getting on the interstate, but it will increase the traffic on the interstate. Any new construction needs to focus on improving surface streets.

The neighborhood that would be utterly fricked by this totally unnecessary interchange.
