Have you tried correction using a rolled news paper, or rubbing her nose in it.
No but on a serious note. She doesn't want to use violence to avoid traumatizing the dog and cause it to become vicious when it's older.

You're either trolling or your woman is completely unfit to train a puppy

On that same serious note, rain sucks, but you have to take puppies out 8-10 times a day for the first few weeks. Even through the night, maybe 1am and 5am.
Then a few weeks later back down to 6-7 times a day. A few weeks later there shouldn't be any accidents and you'll be down to 2-3 times a day.
Smaller dogs are harder to train. No violence needed.
The only time I used negative reinforcement was with hole digging. Two holes and she hasn't scratched the ground since.

I really wish I was trolling at this point in time.

The puppy is a test to see what kind of father you will be.

House train your dog man. It's not that difficult. My dog pissed in the house maybe 5 times in its entire life. Take it outside often (like every 30 minutes). Never leave it unattended. If you do leave it, put it in a crate and take it outside before just letting it out of the crate. If it doesn't go, then put em back in the crate and try again in 10 minutes. They learn that if they go outside, they get to hang out with you, then they just get used to going outside.
I'd say in a few weeks, my puppy was going to the door on its own. And before that, we didn't have to deal with inside messes since we took her out so often. Literally, she has never shite inside since we had her.

My dogs have always been crate trained. Stay in crate at night. Carried outside first thing in the morning. Carried outside within 30 minutes of eating and drinking and when super young about once an hour. Only put water down when they are eating. In the house they don't need water all day. By the time they were 10-12 weeks old they very rarely ever had an accident in the house. By the age of 5-6 months no accidents to speak of.

regulate food and water distribution. Never leave either on the ground. As soon as they finish eating, bring outside, same as water intake.
And as others said, crate the dog and put their nose in it. You gotta be hard at first, or it'll be 10 plus years of cleaning up shite. I don't see how people deal with that...

Eventually, she'll be cuddling with the dog more than with you. Be prepared.

Sorry bro, I'm somewhat to blame. I told her to get that mutt out of my place, so she brought it to yours.

Get rid of the GF. Nobody wants a dog dropping logs in their house!

Maybe I've just been lucky, but I've never had a hard time with house training. Use a crate, take out frequently on a schedule (ALWAYS after eating), water bowl out only when eating until trained, and especially reward when the pup voids/defecates - profuse reward using the word you will use to trigger the command. No rubbing nose in it, beating, etc. Also you need to be attentive to cues from the pup between scheduled take outs. Amazing how it works, but it requires attention and many, many trips outside, including during the night as a puppy. I've had big dogs, and once they get training and size, don't have to go out much at all.

I don't date women with dogs.

Psycho girlfriend with new puppy
Anyone experience this before? Girlfriend gets a new puppy and puppy starts shitting and pissing under your Christmas tree, in your bed and all over the house. Seems to take care of business all over except for in the yard?
The puppy is some huge Bernard mutt and when I told her to leave it outside that it wasn't coming inside anymore, she refuses to come over anymore until the dog is "potty trained".
