They just want women to get special treatment for "equality purposes". Hell, CA is voting to repeal civil rights legislation so they can discriminate based on race in the name of equality. It's about as Orwellian as it gets.

The actual reasoning for repealing the legislation is that there are too many white men in power and too many Asians taking up university admission spots. I believe part of the master plan is that they're going to force every single corporation in the state to have certain percentages of demographics in management roles. Wouldn't surprise me if the state fined businesses who have too many white men employed.
