I only have so much vigilance to give, and tomorrow my vigilance will be focused where it belongs, which is on retarded drivers.

Better to have and not need it then to need it and not have it. Thank you Jeff Landry for making this state a constitutional carry state!!

There was a minor little flare up in the pew ahead of us yesterday. You could see the sheep dogs reveal themselves for just a second until everyone realized it was just a couple choosing to have an argument in the middle of the second reading.

What is it like to go through your daily routines living in fear?
A lot of people do and some have to.
I do not.

Yep. Got two open carry glocks and one permit carried AR-15 on me at all times.

Especially at Walmart and Home Depot and Lowe’s where I bring my Rottweiler service dog too.

I don't get it either. Scanning Walmart for bogies and jihadi terrorists while "staying strapped" is like cosplaying with real weapons. It's like a game me and my brother would have played when I was 8, except we would have had bright green water guns.

...The same people who are afraid of encountering a jihadi terrorist in public today are probably the same people who weave through traffic and drive like Nascar drivers, even though one is thousands of times more likely to get you killed than the other.

Carrying a firearm doesn't mean living in fear any more than keeping a fire extinguisher in my kitchen means living in fear.

Some people prefer not to carry a firearm, and that's fine. Others do, and that's also fine.
