Super trashy and tactless. If you ask someone to be invited to their wedding, of course they’re going to say yes to your face.

wife's distant friend's mom told us her invite must have got "lost in the mail" (not in the joking sense) so we send an invite and surprise, they didn't even show up.
guest list is the worst part of the wedding planning process.
