Oh get that shite out of here. I don't support the wanton destruction of monuments by either side.

Are you suggesting that seeing simple patterns and their trajectory makes me Literally Hitler?

I'm simply saying that escalation by either side is going to cause an equal and opposite reaction from the other side.

I'm saying it's not a good thing. All it will do is cause further strife and turmoil. Is that what you want? More destruction and blood in the streets?

The concentration camp museums don't memorialize nazis.

After last Saturday in Charlottesville, this post is relevant as frick

It is relevant. The white supremecists are dwarfed in numbers by counter protests everywhere they meet. The KKK is dead and powerless. shite, this was their big unity rally, in Virginia, and it was over a confederate monument. So even in the seat of the confederacy the white supremecists can't muster the numbers or authority to keep a statue from coming down.

So if a KKK group is filled with a lot of rage and frustration over the MLK monument in D.C. they are within their rights to pull it down?

I hope they do. Not because I agree with it but just to further expose the hypocrisy of the left.

These people don't understand that their tactics are bad for both sides of any issue, but their moral righteousness assures them that their ways are not only right but also obligatory.

Will the liberals feel the same way if someone starts taking down MLK street signs?

I'm not advocating this at all but it's the same crime.

Exactly, using concentration camps is a bad example. Plantation homes are still standing (and protected as historical sites) much like the camps.

The concentration camps are not a monument to Nazi offficers but a memorial to those lost.

There aren't any statues of Hitler or any other Nazi officers standing in Germany.

You're such a fricking hack.

Do you not find it the least bit weird that a country and leaders who went to war with the United States are revered in the US? I ask that sincerely.

The statues don't bother me in the least, but I find their existence a bit puzzling. I understand why the South likes them, but the South didn't win.

We are in the early stages of the next civil war. There is no reverse on this train.

This country is not fixable.

If we're going to war over statues - on either side - we deserve whatever fate that brings.

Some people seem to enjoy mob rule when they agree with the outcome without ever considering that one day they may not.
