Outside of the separation of church and state aspect of it, there would be nothing wrong with that...A mosque is just a house of worship to Muslims. I know they give people here the creeps, but mosques are just like any other church

I know this sounds like nonsense to many of you, but I'm telling you this is setting a precedent for some disturbing ideology and tactics. Apathy for destruction of anything deemed controversial is something that gives them latitude to do what they want.
The left is in an all-out war against western (white) people and culture. Yes, it's easy to say the statues are monuments to oppression etc etc. and the statues themselves don't matter to me. But this current mob mentality and its craving to destroy, along with its perpetual victim mentality, is going to have bad effects. It won't stop with statues. It might not even stop after reparations are eventually paid (don't think this couldn't happen).
It should be alarming to anyone that "white supremacy" is now a mainstream and accepted boogeyman...just a few months after a two term black president left office. It tells us that no matter what actually happens as far as progress, it'll never be enough and there'll always be white men to blame.
