If you have the grip down you have to sweep your leg when drawn, grip up and it sweeps out.

Don't back carry. It's too many compromises. Depending on the attire I would advise between pocket, hip, appendix, or ankle.
The problem with a back carry position is that you will need to holster upon getting out of a vehicle which potentially draws attention, exaggerated movement to draw, potential back injury if you fall on weapon.
The most important thing to carrying is that you find a carry position that you can do every single time. This is why it really depends on your situation. If you wear slacks all the time or do you dress like magnum PI and wear Hawaiian shirts and shorts everywhere.
For some people a pocket carry holster and a small .380 might be the way to go. No matter which system you choose, practice with it. Practice drawing and dry firing before doing live fire drills. Practice it until you feel confident and then practice some more.
Otherwise, you're going to make excuses on why you can't carry that day, the day you need it, and then you'll wish you had adopted a more practical solution.
