I bought this one 2 years ago because it had the highest BTU output. Served me well for about 6 boils. Having serious low flame issues now.

I've tried a few things that have all been unsuccessful. This burner is not that old. Anyone have any potential fixes?

Next question if I can't resolve the issue, which one would you recommend buying at a Home Depot, Academy or Lowes type places. Please provide link.

You probably have already.. but have you changed the regulator? That's the weak point in the system here.

Your regulator is probably broke. Replace it unless your burner is clogged. It's a simple device and should be easy to figure out the problem.

Not know what you have done to fix the situation, I can only guess a few things. You have a gunk buildup in the burner, the hose, or the regulator. You need to replace the hose with a high quality hose.Get a good regulator. Usually, the ones that come with the burner are garbage. Last, blow out/clean the burner port and where the gas has to travel.

Good luck

not sure about this particular setup. but, if it stays connected all the time. than it's either the regulator or a clogged hose. most of my stuff has quick disconnect fitting. have had problem with mud dobbers clogging them up.

go to ace hardware and buy these three things:

60 psi regulator separate from any hose

buy a new nice propane hose

Buy brass fittings for hook up to tank. Do not buy the plastic contraption that has the wheel like screw that comes with the burner

I have had that issue before with my fryer but I bought this
regulator LINK and have not had anymore issues. Also we use brass burners at work pretty frequently when changing out couplings and gears, and sometimes we have to purge the valve on the propane tank in order to get the flow correct to run the burner.
