Yeah but I actually prefer them with the plastic grip. You can get cheap cga-510 fittings from any welding supply place like below.

Yeh what you have is good. Im saying the one that comes with the tank is a shite hookup. What you pictured is fine

Keep your Blue Rhine, but get it refilled instead of exchanging. You're only getting about 75% full with an exchange and paying more than you do for a full refill. When the tank gets old or near expiration date, thats when you want to exchange.

"real" hardware stores will refill your tank. Generally look for the large tank in the parking lot.

All of my equipment gets cleaned before it gets put up and then again when it comes out in the spring for crawfish season. I use this lube that my brother in law gets from work.

Not sure where you are so my first suggestion would be use google for propane refill [your town].

In general, a lot of Ace and True Value hardware stores refill. Also, many RV campgrounds like KOA do it also.

Thanks guys - I did a google search on upgrading my regulator and this thread was near the top. On my way to a real hardware store after work.
