Also, the fact that it is over-represented in the news and media...isn't that a direct key to something becoming "normalized and accepted"? I mean, the vast majority of the country gets news from news sources and social media. And those lines are becoming more and more blurred every day, to the point where the news has become entertainment and directly tied with social media.
it's highly accepted with people under 40 and far more importantly, it's accepted and promoted by every major institution. government or private.
it doesn't really matter if what's left of the greatest generation, the boomers, and much of gen x don't accept it.

It's how they're trying to force it into being normalized and accepted, but it would be a tautology to say it's proof of it (Which is what leftists actually argue b/c they love they're recycled information loops).

The thing is those types of weirdo profs were there 20 years ago we just didn't have Twitter (and, more importantly, social media to show it to evoke a reaction). NAMBLA legit existed 20 years ago already. Many people just didn't even know about it until that episode. I'm saying this isn't really new, and I doubt that it's really grown in societal acceptance. We just have access to the perceived threat today b/c of information saturation.

Camille Paglia, a feminist academic and college professor, endorsed NAMBLA in 1993, about 7 years prior to that South Park episode airing. And actually, she endorsed pedophilia a lot more than this guy, endorsing the lowering of the age of sexual intercourse consent to 14 and fondling to any age.
(It should be noted, however, that Camille Paglia has since completely rejected this position and now supports protecting children, and she's also extremely critical of modern feminism)

Exactly. It's all very cyclical.
The biggest thing conservatives could do to stop the spread of these idea is to stop freaking out and making every stupid comment by a Twitter/Tik Tok account with 50 followers go viral, exposing it to millions of people.
Like I told boosie so many years ago: it's all about the reaction.
Conservatives spread more information about trans persons and pedos than supporters by an exponential amount. If you stop, the ideas will stop circulating at such a high rate. You're creating the viral memes that then provide an avenue for Leftists to report as the actual story. Removing that justification takes away a major part of their playbook.

I don't care if you can't control that you are attracted to children. I don't care if you think you are a monster because you are attracted to children. The fact is you are a monster and an abomination to society. If you have that problem you should feel awful and do what you can to suppress or eliminate it. If you act on it once you should be put down, no if ands or buts.
