FlightAware shows it never got above 1,900 feet and the speeds were erratic.

Was headed to Sarasota before flying to the Bahamas.

I remember seeing all of the stories. I was at my parents' house there a couple weeks after the flood and those folks needed all of the help they could get.

yea he's well liked around here.

The NASCAR community is pretty tight knit when you're talking about all the teams HQ, engineers, and just the whole support apparatus surrounding it

God that's awful

I always liked Biffle. Great dude. Thought he'd have more success in Cup like he did in trucks but he was still a damn good driver

RIP. Damn this one hurts.

Guy was loyal to a fault. Stayed with Roush way too long when he had a chance to move to better equipment. I think he said it himself on the DJD.

If this was Greg Biffle that’s extremely sad as he and Cleetus were close etc.,

Man this is going to suck if it was him

Man, I hope this isn't rue! I've been following him since he joined Roush Racing years ago. Been watching his YouTube videos and him and his family are very entertaining.

I hate to hear that if true. I always enjoyed watching him wheel that #16 3M Rousch Fenway Racing Ford around the track.

NASCAR has had too many fatalities over the years involving helicopters and planes.

Makes me.fear for Chase Elliott, Who is a licensed pilot who flies his own plane

Biffle was one hell of a talented race car driver.

Very very sad.

talked to a Dr friend of mine he said he stopped flying because he was worried of the mental fatigue and not being 100% focus. He didn’t want to have an accident with his family.

Will admit that I have daydreamed before about planes but just doesn’t seem worth the risk when your home life and other hobbies do well filling filling your soul

That’s what he was saying. On the weekends when he needs to be recharging he was flying and felt it was inevitable to have an accident

Cleet just posted on his Facebook that its Greg, his wife, and son Ryder at least. They were on the way to hang out with Cleet and the group this afternoon.

Man, what an awful thing to have happen.

I’ll never fly private. Those are the ones that go down, not the big USA airliners!

I'm a big Cleetus fan and watch his YouTube channel a lot. Biffle is on there quite a bit and they seem like really good friends. That's a sad situation.

Do you fear for yourself, who is a licensed driver and drives your own car?

The big difference between car accidents and plane accidents is that you read about all of the plane accidents.

Man I've never been so conflicted in my life, pressing play on that YouTube video on the first page and seeing he had a young daughter, but initially she wasn't said to be on the plane. Just horrible all the way around.

Yeah Kenny Wallace made a post about Craig. Assumed Biffles daughter was on there since his wife and son were. Terrible tragedy, only positive I can think of is that they are all going to the after life together. Thoughts and prayers to their family and friends.

I’m no aviation expert but if this is the actual flight path it seems like they woulda made it back to the runway if they wouldn’t have had to circle back around. If there was a problem why not put it back on the ground as soon as possible? Wind blowing in the wrong direction?
