Lucky George isn’t black or police would have shot him," one user wrote.

I saw someone comment on twitter that if he were wearing a dress and playing with makeup he'd be considered a hero.

I know this gets repeated all the time, but it's rather sad to see the devolution and 'pussification' of the UK over a hundred year span. From having an empire upon which the sun never sets to going apey over a Prince holding a toy gun. My God.

It's funny my son has been watching Winnie the Pooh lately. The episode where he meets Tigger, he heard a scary noise outside, so he has a toy gun that he patrols his room with and then goes on a bad acid trip and a bunch of elephants (heffalumps) turn into guns and shoot at him.
I always laugh thinking that if this was made today Winnie the Pooh would be on CNN 24hrs a day accused of being a Nazi and a misogynistic war monger. Whinnie the Pooh. Our society is so beyond fricked.

I’m a millennial and even growing up in the progressive Mecca of the south (Austin), my friends and I always had airsoft wars in our front yards, around the neighborhood, or in public parks AND never had issues with this.

I remember when I was a kid, I had a "Rambo" set. It was a fake machine gun, a grenade, knife, a piece of cloth to tie around your head.. Could you imagine if they tried to sell some shite like that today?

Anyone ever been in a paintball gun fight without the equipment? Or been hit by one without any protection? One night, when we were in HS, we went pull drive-bys with paint ball guns.
This girl we knew, we went light her car up and it turned into a big deal because she had to get her car painted because it fricked up the paint on it.. But they never found out who did it.. But that was fun as well.
