I'm sure there has to be some laws covering such a situation, but what if the following would happen:
Woman divorces and takes kids. New husband adopts kids. Wife now divorces new husband so he now has child support to pay. A year or so later, slut wife decides to get back with husband No. 1 and they re-marry.
Is Husband No 2 still on the hook for child support?
Bonus question: Can the couple use the child support monies legally to upgrade to a doublewide?

This is why i’m Not interested in raising anyone else’s brood. I’ve got enough with my own. I don’t want my resources going to anyone but them.

If Husband No 2 adopted the kids, the kids are his. Yes he pays child support.
I mean, it’s pretty straight forward I think. The decision to adopt a child should not be contingent on one’s relationship with their mother. Imagine the mother passes away, are you going to be like, “Welp, your mom’s gone. I wish you the best”

Adoption is kind of a serious deal, don't adopt something you don't want responsibility for.... Also means he has rights to custody over all 3 though. He should try to step up to the plate and demand more custody of all 3 to ease some of that child support.

If he adopted the child then he named himself as the parent. So even though he’s not biologically the father legally he is. That court system a big ol’ B word.

Same, when I was divorced and dating woman with young kids were a no go for me, complicates your life with your own kids and typically involves too much interaction and issues with their ex.
