Previous homeowner's mail

The guy refuses to have his mail forwarded for some reason. Is there a way I can tell the post office to hold his mail? I am tired of getting his shite. Thanks.

I’m fighting this battle right now. Guy who lived here before me had like 6 LLCs that we get mail for too.
I just write not at this address on every piece of mail and stick it back to the mailbox. It’s starting to slow down.

You will keep getting it from the same people unless you write, RETURN TO SENDER, MOVED LEFT NO FORWARDING ADDRESS.
They don't want to pay for the postage and will quit sending you anything from the previous owner.

I wrote a return to sender note in sharpie on every piece of mail for like a month and finally it stopped coming. Maybe there is a better way, idk.

Circle his name and write WRONG ADDRESS on each piece and put back in mail box with flag up.

I've been voting by mail for years. I don't know why folks thinks it's such a big deal.
We have this problem at our house too (Getting the previous homeowners mail.) Only problem? The previous homeowner has been dead for over 5 years now...

I still get mail for the previous owner of our house 5-6 years later. I forgot to get a forwarding address or his number so I just throw it away.

The wife of the previous owner of this house died about 6 months before we bought it in 2014. I get mail for her fairly often too.

In my current house I was nice about it the first year and wrote “Not at this address” and put it back in the mail.

when i bought my house i had like 20 mexicans, im told they take random addresses from the property sale listings in the paper, they were using my address to open bank accounts to cash checks. after about 4 months of writing wrong address on it and put it back in the mailbox they all stopped
