The TJ story is fake news. Also, wasn’t counting Little Boy or Fat Man for Truman- just WWI service.

Jackson is the only one on that list who for certain killed someone personally. Most or all gave orders that led to the death of others. IYAM not the same thing. By that standard every president would qualify.

McKinley and Eisenhower were definitely behind the pulling of a trigger.

Not Eisenhower. From his Wiki:

When the U.S. entered World War I, he immediately requested an overseas assignment but was again denied and then assigned to Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas.[48] In February 1918, he was transferred to Camp Meade in Maryland with the 65th Engineers. His unit was later ordered to France, but to his chagrin he received orders for the new tank corps, where he was promoted to brevet lieutenant colonel in the National Army.[49] He commanded a unit that trained tank crews at Camp Colt – his first command – at the site of "Pickett's Charge" on the Gettysburg, Pennsylvania Civil War battleground. Though Eisenhower and his tank crews never saw combat, he displayed excellent organizational skills,

Eisenhower and a lot of other WWII generals were groomed for their roles by a general named fox conner. Interesting guy to read up on

Added Hayes to the original list.
Definitely not counting those who “gave the order.” Only counting first person kills.

Benjamin Harrison was a Colonel who saw action in the later half of the Civil War. He may have popped a cap in somebody’s arse.

Back in the day, if someone talked shite to you on the white house grounds you told them to grab their side piece and meet on the front lawn.

So you are saying that Obama went out with Seal Team 6 and personally pulled the trigger?

Then Jackson is the only confirmed killer on the list. I'll put Washington down as a probable for his service in the French and Indian War as a young man.

TR and Cleveland have confirmed kills as well. The rest on the list are highly probable.

Pretty sure Eisenhower had to kill some one in WWI.

Ike's unit never saw combat in WWI - so, unlikely he personally killed anyone as a soldier.

Who did Truman kill?

He was a field artillery officer in a unit that saw combat in WWI - if that doesn't count, nothing does.
