LOL... we used to sell 'em out the trunk of our car in the Dixie Dandy parking lot when I was a teen. They went like hotcakes. I never could bring myself to actually eat any, though.
BTW they also sell gar, carp, goo, and buffalo (which are delicious, btw) at the little market going out of town.

and ya'll folks in south La, don't get on yer highhorse. I caught the biggest gaspergoo Ive ever seen one morning on lake St John. I kept it to show the other guys we were fishing with. I was gonna throw it back after showing them and I thought some creole boys at the ramp were gonna have a heart attack. They said that's some of the best eating fish and begged me to give it to 'em. I did and it was like they just opened up a gift on Christmas morning. We laughed so hard. Kinda makes me wonder what yall coonies think of armadillo.
