Why would you? Sometimes the Hunter becomes the Hunted.

Why not shoot from a distance? Is there some requirement that you have to kill big game from the ground inside 25 yrds or something?

I’m fine with responsible big game hunting, but it just seems reasonable that sometimes the animal should win.

Yea I mean often going to say Africa for these "horroble" hunts, not only do the locals get a much needed paycheck and the meat from the animal, but the hunters aren't taking out an endangered species (not talking about poachers), and it's a hunt. It's dangerous.

No shock or horror either way.

This is why I hunt Cape Buffalo from a 25" box stand over a feeder.

Those things are mean and bad-tempered.
One hunter said about a particular bull, "He looked at me like I owed him money".

I also don’t really feel bad here. I know nothing about hunting but if the other guy is actually a back up shooter for this type of thing? why doesn’t he have an ak47 or rocket launcher. If I lost the the duel I’d have no shame in running away screaming while Miguel blows it up
