maybe the kid is actually colorblind, since I clicked on this link thinking this was going to be a prank where a kid tricked his preschool teacher into thinking she was colorblind or something, not some stupid arse made up fagbook story that was neither a prank, nor involved someone being colorblind.

When I was little it being colorblind was encouraged. We were just all Americans. It didn't matter what color you were. Now they stopped that because we have to recognize the cultures of others. This has promoted a divide.

I don't get how someone wouldn't notice skin color. It's not racist to notice skin color.
My best friend as a kid was black, and of course I noticed he was black.
I never thought in racial ways back then, but I certainly noticed the differences in people's race and ethnicities.

Kids are generally pretty color blind. I grew in Hawaii - in elementary school both of my best friends were Chinese. After school, we'd go down to the "chink store" (everyone called it that) and buy some li hing mui (dried plums with salt sugar and licorice powder).

I would say it's a mix of all three.
