Im against the tax raises, but this statement makes no sense. It's a raise mostly on corporate rates for infrastructure.

Claiming tax hikes for infrastructure spending is such an oft-repeated lie that it's become a political meme

We are already spending money we don’t have. Taxes are for social engineering and not servicing the debt. They have no intentions of servicing the debt.

So we can become uncompetitive again.

Trump's tax plan was one of the best things about his presidency. Corporate rates were lowered to be in line with competing developed nations.

As for the taxes, Biden’s main priority will be to raise the corporate rate from 21 percent to 28 percent.

Two things are about to go up...unemployment and prices.

Who cares? Bankruptcy, unemployment, etc. are all a small price to pay for having a President who doesn't send mean tweets.

Most of the federal spending is on transfer payments.

Take money from working Americans and give it to someone else without receiving a good or service in return.

This isn't sustainable, look at fricking LA rt now, a quarter of our state are on snap.

Liberals are dumb.

Note to the idiot nola liberals that will come into this thread saying these tax hikes won't hit the middle class:

It is A WIDE CONSENSUS among economists that workers and consumers bear at least 50% of a corporate tax hike.

Here is a good summary of most the recent studies on corporate taxes.
