This doesn't seem like it would be an equal comparison. Not even close.
it was just that 1 image of the tornado with the vortex off to the side... it just looked kinda similar
not saying they're anywhere near similar strength... just on look

Any tornado that hits a city will be compared to the April 27, 2011 Tuscaloosa tornado immediately following the event. Then, the survey happens.

My mom just messaged me. She would know. All she said was a cousins roof is gone and windows blown out at another house.

Gonna have to watch those as they come onshore later.

That whole line of storms extending into the Gulf is spinning to some degree. They'll all have to be watched.

Anyone know how Eden isle held up/ is holding up?

TWC showing tight couplet over Terrytown before crossing river. Might have damage on both banks.

In Slidell… nothing as of now. It’s quiet and sprinkling.

Yes but to be fair, I wasnt overly concerned about Orleans by about noon. Didnt take my eye off the ball at least, but a good reminder how quick things can happen in this environment

I didn’t even hear it really storming. Glad.

My sister in Metairie said she is hearing dozens of EMS headed toward the city

And a good reminder not to get too caught up in the arbitrary lines of the Categorical Risk.
