I can't hazard a guess for the ones near cities, but if a mob attempted to burn the old plantation homes in the country where I am you would seriously have a race war on your hands.
There is a LOT of local pride in the old plantation homes, and generally the people who own them have a ton of pull/respect in the local community.

This is the next target. An earlier poster had it right... they are going to start going ofter people who have weddings and events at the plantations. They will hit them in the wallet, to start. Then they will start pressuring tourists to stay away from them.

Id say he is. In one of our continuing ed classes a year or so ago there was an article on renaming the Master Bedroom to a more gender neutral and less masculine term. I dont recall their suggestion off hand tho.
