Agreed, but this is why I say that we are uniquely qualified to deal with this problem. We have NOPD that annually deals with Mardi Gras and BRPD who deal with Spanish Town and St Patty's day. They can allow a gathering happen without riot gear and let bullshite slide while stopping real bullshite when they see it.
We also have a population of well armed assholes who saw what happened after Katrina. We're in the perfect spot to prevent a Ferguson.
This is an opportunity, and a tragedy. I'm also drunk and hopeful by nature. Go BR!!

Sorry man, I'm a hippie at best and a pussy at worst. But this statement is dumb. I live in a decent neighborhood and have neighbors (whom I like otherwise) stocking ammo in case a Ferguson happens.

The bullshite level of this current situation is off the charts. I think this might be where BLM really jumps the shark.
Asking for heads to roll over this is basically asking for there to be no police. You can't have police who don't have arrest authority. You can't give them arrest authority and then tell them they have to play nice with people who resist while carrying a gun.
How long do we expect police to continue risking their necks if this is the result?
