Arse is a smart man, he knew what flag he was posting in the OP. I bet his point was that social media dimwits post anything regardless of accuracy

I have to say, this is one thing I don't quite understand people bitching about. I remember people bitching about everyone putting the French flag background over their profile pics after the Paris shootings. I don't understand why others are bothered by this.

I understand that there are attention whores all over social media but has society really devolved so much that showing support and sending prayers after a tragic event is frowned upon?
