That's terrifying. She's got the same name as my 8 yr old. Praying for a full and speedy recovery.

My 12 almost 13 yo niece had a brain aneurysm Monday night. She had emergency surgery and has been given very little hope to make it. Dr recommended taking her off life support this morning and the family went into talk to her, she started moving her feet! It's still a long shot but any prayers would certainly be appreciated for this beautiful little girl. Pray for Megan please

I guess "frick YEA BUDDY" would have been more appropriate here. Still that's encouraging.

Kids are resilient little frickers.
Maybe God likes them more. Whatever it is, here's to a full recovery for that precious little angel.

My prayers are with you guys. My 9 year old niece had a brain aneurysm several years ago. Her prognosis was also bleak, but after several months in a drug induced coma, she woke up. She learned to walk again. She missed a year of school but she is back on track. There is hope and prayers work.

Not sure if your niece has AVM but this group was very helpful at the time- Facebook has lots of support pages now too. I think connecting with others going through the same thing is helpful.

Happened to my roommates little brother around the same age a few years ago. He has made a full recovery and playing baseball for his high school team so keep hope. Prayers sent.

and blesses the family. some people get angry at God after an untimely death or even an illness.

How fragile life is. Reminder to appreciate every moment with loved ones.
