I am very sorry to hear about your loss. Prayers for you, your wife and family in this difficult time. As others have said, please reach out to someone, (clergy, MHP. etc.) to talk about this and make sure that your family and you work through this tragedy together.

This is so true. Be there for your wife in whatever capacity she needs you. If she pushes back, back off. There will be time to focus on both of you later.

Me and my wife lost our two year old son almost 30 years ago. I'm so sorry for your loss man. Words can't describe the feeling or the road ahead.

Red, not sure if you have a burner email you may can post on here. I know there are several posters who have lost children and may be more comfortable contacting you via email than on here to help you through all this. Even folks who haven’t lost kids. Just a thought

redstick ... no words do this justice. Just prayers and support from a forum with a lot of moms and dads, brothers and sisters. May you and your wife find solace that your little one's short time upon this Earth gave you joy at every waking minute. He will live forever in your memories and your hearts.
