Airplane Panic Attack
Not much mention of Henry in these comments. I think that comes to a head in the finale. Fake/Dream Victor and Fake/Dream "Dr." Boyd tell Henry he has to kill real Victor. Sophia/MiY poisoned Henry's drink a few eps ago which is manifesting these cutaway dreams. I think Henry will try and kill Victor. He'll be stopped ... perhaps by Tabitha who "becomes" Miranda. Perhaps Tabitha's transition into Miranda somehow saves her and Jade because it upsets the apple carts with the monsters. And when all this happens, Tabitha/Miranda convince the others to not tear down the bottle tree which is crucial for Miranda's "reincarnation."

Somebody important is going to die next week. The obvious choices are Elgin (although he's likely dead already), Ellis, Fatima, Jade and Tabitha. J&T will likely be saved as per the above. I think Ellis croaks, which sets up a huge emotional break for Boyd. Father Katri told Boyd that people would die in order for the larger group to survive.

You Tube TV // WBRZ

Thinking of dumping cable and switching to YTTV. Those of you who have YTTV, is WBRZ provided? It looks like there was some sort of contract dispute with Disney//ABC … but YTTV appears to carry ESPN. And so I would think the local ABC affiliate is included.
I've watched Ep 3 twice now and something occurs to me. Overall it's a slow burn, but consider this. Both Boyd and Jade were looking for something ... Jade was looking for something to get high that would help him "remember." And lo and behold, he stumbles on some mushrooms. Boyd goes to his wife's grave and beseeches her to help him ... and the zombie hand (hers?) shoots up out of the ground and grabs him. Can it be that Boyd and Jade ... and perhaps others ... maybe Tabitha? ... have on some level the ability to "will" something to happen?

And remember the convo between Ethan and Victor about the Lake of Tears ... Ethan says that he imagined it and then dead-Jim told him it was real and he had to find it. And Tabitha had visions of the red rocks and found them last season.

Thoughts?
Looking ahead this is just my crystal ball ... and I have not read any others' prognostications ...

At some point, we will get 1 or 2 episodes dedicated to what happened to the original townspeople and the choice they made in sacrifice their children. For those who are analogizing to Lost, that will be similar to the whole Jacob/MiB origin episode. Perhaps we'll also get the backstory to the MiY.

Tabitha and Jade will be in the episode(s) and will try and prevent the townies from doing whatever it is they will do to their children. Because they try and prevent it from happening, they're absolved of becoming monsters but they're sentenced to an eternity of trying to stop the cycle.

I think escape from the town requires another form of sacrifice and I think Victor has to be a part of that. Victor serves as some sort of stop gap preventing the humans from being able to escape. I think Christopher will make Victor understand what he must do. And Victor's self-sacrifice will be the opposite of what happened to the original children and that somehow will make escape possible.

Julie will somehow learn to time travel and save Jim but Jim will retain memory or knowledge of being "on the other side" that will somehow help.

My 2 cents ... I love the show. I agree Ethan is a shitshow.

Others have asked the tax question ... you do realize that when you trade in, your sales tax is based on the differential after deducting the value of the trade in. This was not always the case in Louisiana -- and went into effect I think about 3 years ago ... point being you paid the full sales tax on the new car (9% in EBR I think). So we all hope you did those calculations before making your decision.

The Fired Coaches Bowl

Is LSU v. Arkie the first game where both schools fired their coaches mid-season? Wonder what the interim coaches will say to each other pre-game. "I have a 0.0?% chance of getting this job." ... "Oh yeah? Well I have a 0.00?% chance of getting this job."

Cue the Jim Carey Dumb & Dumber "so you're saying there's a chance ..."

If we go 0-17 this year that will be a 21 game losing streak. Only 5 more to go to match the Bucs ... and another 8 to match the all time record of 29 L's in a row.

Make that 50-something to 7.

The Future

Posted by Chill Pill on 9/21/25 at 3:33 pm
We all know this is a bad football team. This game will likely wind up 30-something to 10. The season is basically over. I truly dont know if Moore is the answer. But he needs at least 2 seasons. We will have the top pick in the draft. The problem is we need draft picks ... a lot of them. Kamara might be the only tradeable asset. Maybe Olave for a 6th or a 7th. Maybe Shaheed for similar. Trade and acquire picks.
There's a solution to this called the Pistol. RB gets ball with room to see and assess. Unfortunately other than Keiland Williams in 2007 ag/ Va Tech, i don't recall the Pistol being especially effective.

Clemson

To those who think we will roll Clemson, Mel Kiper has 4 of them in the top 14 of the draft -- 2 on O, 2 on D. Down vote all you want. Just saying.

Do you sleep well?

Does it in any way bother you what havoc and dysfunctionality you ... you ... no one else ... have heaped upon this franchise?

Is there any semblance of accountability morphing through your veins?

Or are you laughing your arse off every time you cash your check?

Just wondering.
