How do you spend your first week once the winnings are securely in your bank account?
Assume $500M after taxes is your bank balance.
Who do you tell, where do you go, what do you buy, what do you do?

Great question. That’s why I play Powerball when it’s gets to a high number. I have zero expectations of winning, but that $2 I spent on a ticket allows me to day dream for the next 30 minutes. And of all the stupid shite I spend money on, a 30 minutes day dream of having hundreds of millions of $ is worth the $2.
But to answer your question, the thought I have most often is strolling into work the next few weeks before I claim the ticket and have zero fricks about what is going on. Then...
...I would travel the world in the best accommodations for a year. And invite family and friends to join me one at a time. Ibiza with my college buddies. Then Switzerland with my parents. Then Paris with my best man and wife. Set them up with first class tickets and the finest hotels and monkey butlers

Id give myself 10 million to blow. The rest in Mutual Funds that will get me at least 3% ROI.
I actually enjoy my career and what I do. I would still go to work but make lab lunches EPIC.

575m x 0.396 = 227.7m in taxes
347.3m left after
(10m) blow off money -> 337.3m left
337.3m x 3% ROI Annually = 10.119m a year to blow every year never touching the principle.

I am not impulsive at all, so I probably wouldn't do much of anything different for a few weeks.
