Possibly, but if anyone opens a faucet it should relieve the pressure and add air to the lines which likely reduces the chances of a busted pipes gradually. I know my kids check that shite every 5 minutes so there wouldn’t be water left in the lines...

The running water helped a little flow that can keep water running. If it's stagnant, then it will 100% freeze, right?

Yeah I just mean frozen, not busted necessarily

He did ask people NOT to drip their pipes though. This will end well

+1

people's lack of basic fluid dynamics becomes painfully evident in times such as these. They act like victims when they contribute to most of the issues. I consider myself lucky working in the process controls and automation industry. Forced to learn about it. Cryo in LNG and high temp applications in cat crackers

Sun is out and I believe we are going to start thawing out faster today than yesterday. Turned mine off at main Saturday and opened lines. Down to one flush at apartment.

Sure if there was any water left in the pipes that water will freeze now without flow. There's going to be issues for sure but if enough people had water dripping it may not be so bad

Not for long. Buying a place in South LC and moving soon. Will miss downtown, though.

I hate leaving downtown but we bought a bigger house on an amazing deal because of storm damage. It's an easy repair but the old guy wants to take insurance money and down size.

If its yellow let it mellow if its brown flush it down.

You could always melt some snow in a 5 gallon bucket and use that flush your toilet if things get bad.

Same. My kids are students there now, but will be done before it (if) it moves. Lots of folks with property near it are being very vocal though.
