Never met him in person but damn. He made a real difference to a lot of people in the restaurant industry and CNN.

Damn I just flipped through my channel guide and saw CNN was on my cable programming.

Really makes you think.

They say he met a tragic end, cooked too long until his casing was rubbery.

Did he obey the law, or was he one of those illegal Boudins?

Think he was an awesome individual. He had some issues that I wouldn’t wish on anyone. I appreciate things he taught me and hope he’s at peace. I don’t think he was a god, but I liked the guy. Politics aside.

Depression and suicide aren’t anything to be laughed about. You have family members and friends that are hurting. Show love every day.

Watching him eat street food In places like Viet Cong and getting 3am drunk af noon really changed my life.

RIP sweet prince. You were too good for this evil earth.

I enjoyed his show and he seemed to be genuine. I loved his stripped down cooking style and his appreciation for other cultures. It's kind of sad to think about how alone that dude must have felt at his end when millions of folks would have loved to sit and have a beer with him
