I'm supposed to feel bad about someone committing suicide because he was on TV? There are thousands of people that deal with depression/mental issues that don't have near the resources to address their problem. He had ample opportunity to get help (therapy, medicine, etc.) yet he chose to go out like a coward and leave his loved ones wondering what more they could have done. People in his situation get no empathy from me.

Can you not read?
This thread is not about the Bourdain guy. We’re talking the dirty rice and meat mixture in a case or the fried balls.
I always get the crawfish ball ones in Krotz Springs.

enjoyed his show and he seemed to be genuine. I loved his stripped down cooking style and his appreciation for other cultures. It's kind of sad to think about how alone that dude must have felt at his end when millions of folks would have loved to sit and have a beer with him
Except for the fact that he didnt cook in his show. Hed just show up somewhere and stuff his crowded grill and be a drunk. Dude was a liberal screamer. Later

That guy was great. Probably one of the most real I’ve ever seen on TV, especially CNN. He battled his demons that eventually took his life but his shows were wonderful. Made you want to open your eyes to other cultures and the world. He said in the end we are all the same. He’s very right. Guy was awesome

Seems like empathy in general is not really your strong suit.
