It is an NDA not an employment contract.

Well then its not jusy an NDA anymore. NDA isn't a big deal if its just an NDA. But you're right, read everything to make sure they don't slip in extra language beyond just the NDA.

LOL! So you have to come to a message board to find out what a NDA is but have a special set of skills "they liked." How does that work? "Well Mr Fareplay, can you tell me about any special skills in your repertoire?" LOL! So they won't tell you anything about the job until you sign a NDA ....except the salary of $225k. Sounds legit.

What are they going to do if you don't accept it? Sue you? That wouldn't be a good look for the company.

Does this mean I am ducked? Don't want to sign anything without understanding what I am agreeing to.

Will they sue me? Job pays a frick ton but they won't tell me the responsibilities unless I sign

FYI a non-compete requires consideration so it's only enforceable after you are hired. That said, most non-competes have defects in them that make them unenforceable because companies are dumb.

If they are offering $225k and you are asking about an NDA this doesn't add up. If you are worth $225k you should be familiar with NDAs. If you are worth $225k you should know what to do...get an attorney. Damn Son.

So they tell you what it pays before they ask you to sign a NDA so that they can interview to tell you what the job is about.

Yeah that's why I'm worried too. I know what I do is good but 225 seems like a lot.

So they are going to make you sign the NDA without letting you read the NDA?

Yes. That is the point and it happens all the time. If they pay well, and those usually do, make a decision. Damn, Why does everyone jump on the liberal bandwagon that companies are evil?? Some have a lot to lose on exposure.
