Found this dog tied up to a tree outside a gas station. She was wondering the neighborhood for weeks. Found out that the "owners" were this meth head homeless couple. I took possession of her and called someone from my church who rescues dogs. The last two pics are after they picked her up and took her for doggie ice cream. I named her Candie

Another unidentified parasitic wasp

And I took way too many shots of this large clutch of Green Lacewing Eggs because I thought they looked cool

Oddly enough, I wasn't into bugs as a kid. I've always been psychotic, though.

Would you sit in these chairs on the edge of a cliff?

Well you really can't because these chairs are at the edge of a lake. Cloud reflection is on top of the water.

I took this picture at part of our lake front actually back in Feb 2023.

Good ones! I really like that barn swallow pic. They're fun birds to watch.

thanks! i love the barn swallows...well, all the swallows...there was a mix yesterday of about 30-40 barn and cliff swallows diving at the pond yesterday...they would all land in the trees for a few minutes, and then start hunting and diving again...so much fun to watch!

A few years ago a mixed flock of barn and tree swallows and purple martins were hunting the field behind my house. Some type of gnats or flies were hatching out and they feasted for hours. Their ability not to crash into each other amazed me.
