When you take a shite in your office setting do you wash your hands or simply use hand sanitizer?

Was in the bathroom after this dude took a massive explosive diarrhea shite and he walked straight out without washing his hands. we work on the same team so I asked him wtf and he says oh I used sanitizer.

Hand sanitizer is no replacement for soap and water.

Idk what's worse - a grown man not washing his hands or another grown man calling him out on it.

we have fat folks who somehow shite all over the toilet seats. i think they are so fat that they can't tell if their arse hole is above the toilet. there is no way that they don't see the shite all over when they are done. i told HR a few times and they pretty much told me there is no way of figuring out who did it.

This.

Fwiw, washing with soap is essentially to clean your hands of any debri, remnants, etc.

Hand sanitizer is simply to kill germs.

While it's proper to wash your hands after taking a shite, if you don't get shite on your hands I honestly don't know why just sanitizer would be wrong. Just less right?

The CTO of my company - big 3 health insurers - had to send out an email to all employees basically explainig hygiene to the Indian temps.

They would destroy the facilities.

We have people all the time brushing their teeth. I find that odd that you sit in there for 5 minutes brushing your teeth while some dude is having an explosive post lunch shite attach in the stall right behind you.

I've seen similar things happen. I don't understand how you can use the bathroom and not wash your hands and then touch surfaces other people are going to touch.

I fake like I'm washing my hands, I just turn on the water but I don't run my hands under. DWI.

They won't let us operate the fryer if we don't wash our hands, so pretty much have to.

I have a colleague who always walks out of his office at 10:15 with the WSJ in his hands. Comes back 20 minutes later. You could set your watch to it. He has no shame/self-awareness.

Took a vacation to Gatlinburg last month. On the way home, we stopped by Ruby Falls. During the tour, the guide told us to not touch the water as it may mess with the chemistry. Well, the Indians (dots not feathers) on the tour were basically washing themselves in the forbidden cave water. I'm talking taking handfuls and washing their faces, splashing on their necks, dunking their kids heads in it. It was odd.
