Southeastern doesn’t have a college of engineering, per Google. I’m going to go out on a limb and suggest that I’m right and you’re wrong: the on campus recruiting programs at a school like A&M (or texas) will provide substantial advantages over those at southeastern.
That’s not shitting on southeastern, it’s just how it is. I wouldn’t argue that A&M sets you up coming out of school as well as MIT, either.

Agree. I have been to some of the Career Day type events at some of Louisiana low level public college, no real big name employers.

Perhaps Southeastern doesn't have an engineering program. But A&M is probably much higher rated than Lsu's but I don't think it does anything more for you in your career.

And I’m not trying to suggest that anyone coming out of a larger, more reputable program is assured success while someone coming out of a smaller one is not. Just that there are absolutely advantages to larger, more reputable programs.
