San Diego is closer to El Paso than Houston is.

Phil Mickelson is right-handed. "Lefty" just plays golf left-handed.

Stamford Connecticut is the only city in the US where you can head in any direction and end up in its bordering state: New York.

East leads to White Plains, NY.

South leads to New York, NY.

West leads to Long Island NY.

North leads to Pound Ridge, NY.

Are the directions wrong ? Also any city south of Stamford you could say the same, no?

There aren't any cities south of Stamford.

You can easily tell which posters were homeschooled flat-earthers when these geography tooics come up, though.

Our ears are fully formed at birth and will stay in the same shape for life. Only change is the size.

There is only one natural lake in the whole state of Texas and it's shared with Louisiana.

You cannot graduate from MIT without passing a swimming test, regardless of what your field of study is, no exceptions, the degrees of some very smart people have been held until they passed the swim test.

Also, Tahoe is Washoe for "the lake", so Lake Tahoe actually means "Lake The Lake", and so you're repeating yourself.

PS--Given the choice of the two, visit Lake Tahoe. Especially the northern side in Incline Village.

Absolutely! I’d rather ski the Tahoe area than anywhere!

Staying with the OP, at the beginning of the TV Western Bonanza, the lake on the map that burned at the opening of the show was Lake Tahoe. The Pondersa is located on the northeast side of the lake and the series was filmed there for the first couple of years.

Fun fact: Some truly dumb people like to use the word, “I” instead of “me” because they think it makes them sound intelligent, even though they are grammatically incorrect as frick.
