Most people don't understand Mercator projection and word play. Only smart people like you and I can understand.

Many of the grammatical rules in English which seem unnecessary are indeed unnecessary bc they are derived from the grammatical rules of Latin.

I don't know shite about Latin but I heard, maybe on a TED talk, that the rule of not ending a sentence with a preposition comes from it being impossible to end a sentence with a preposition in Latin.

I am always shocked at how young many of America's timeless stars were at their death:

Jim Morrison, 27
Jimi Hendrix, 27
Janis Joplin, 27
Otis Redding, 26
Buddy Holly, 22
Ritchie Valens, 17
James Dean, 24
Hank Williams Sr., 29
Marilyn Monroe, 36
Sid Vicious, 21

There's plenty more. It's amazing in such a short life they are still seen as iconic for their works and are still household names to this day.

Stamford Connecticut is the only city in the US where you can head in any direction and end up in its bordering state: New York.

East leads to White Plains, NY.

South leads to New York, NY.

West leads to Long Island NY.

North leads to Pound Ridge, NY.

Damn, I didn't realize I posted the same useless trivia.
However, I am not from the area. Been there once. I recall it to be ok, but that was a New year's Eve from quite a while ago.
