When growing up, all the kids in the neighborhood gave my mom the nickname "Shirley Muldowney"--she had a boatload of power and kind of a "heavy foot"
She took the driveway pretty darn fast!...I suppose that's where I get my love for modern day twin turbo, big V-8 or previous generation naturally aspirated V-10 motors. It is an awesome feeling when you lightly press the accelerator and get instant raw power, all the while feeling it in the seat, steering wheel, and pedals!!
I suppose I have always been "a car guy".
I enjoy these threads---keep posting the pics fellas!

58 corvette is the obvious answer, but since taken, I'll have a 1970 440 Six Pack Challenger convertible

At the Henry-Ford Museum they have a computer that matches the qualities you look for in a car to an actual car in the museum. This is what they matched me up with:
A 1966 Toyota Corona Sedan. Unfortunately, I couldn't agree more.
But I do like the 1957 Corvette

As far as most valuable of that group would be the Lemans GT40s and the Daytona Coupe, 6 made. CSX2300 was owned by a guy in new orleans that drove it regularly until he sold it for a Testarossa.

Can't limit it to just one, but I bought this '55 Mercury Montclair a couple of years ago. My Dad had one almost exactly like it after he got out of high school.

Dad had the long bed, three on the tree. I'd like one with four on the floor.

I'd take a 67 Chevelle SS as my everyday driver.

As a retirement gift for my dad I hope to find a 1976 Ford Torino to rebuild with him.
He had one when he was in the Army

My step-dad has owned some nice older cars throughout the years. A bunch of Chevelles and now a blue 64 Vette (solid window). My favorites were his two 70 SS454 Chevelles. All three of his last cars have been #'s matching and fully restored, so they were primo.
Had one black cherry Chevelle with white interior got flooded in Katrina, and his last one was forest green with green interior. I'd go with one of those, and if not, a COPO Camaro
