How do you like the matte paint on it in the sun and shade? I am really leaning towards going with matte white on mine similar to this but can't decide if I will like the matte paint all the time.

Mine will have a 2.5" suspension lift from James Duff and a 1" body lift. EFI, 23 gallon tank, new seats with a full cage and no top for this one. I redid a 76 CJ7 and made the mistake of putting steel doors and a full top on it and never took the damn thing off because I had no where to put it. This one even has the windows on the doors welded over.

My folks had a 65 Catalina with a 389 4 barrel. We buried the needle at 135mph. We only burned what they called "white gas" in it from American (Amoco) I think that was 101
octane.

Let me tell you what Melba Toast is packin' right here, all right. We got 4:11 Positrac outback, 750 double pumper, Edelbrock intake, bored over 30, 11 to 1 pop-up pistons, turbo-jet 390 horsepower.

ETA Were talking some fricking muscle.

I want to go EFI soon.

Fitech is supposed to be a cheap but really good bolt on EFI set up. You can get an EFI set up under a grand and you just need to add an inline fuel pump I believe. It is cheap compared to the Atomic (2500).

Keeping the theme of black Chevys, I'll add the 57 Airbox Corvette.

And off the black theme, 69 Copo
