I seriously doubt it. My parents were really cheap and they never drove over the speed limit.
I guarantee ours had the smallest standard engine available

My mom taught at the same elementary school I attended so we rode everyday in a 1977 Datsun 710 wagon like the one below, except it was a burgundy color.

I remember my mom loved that car because it was the first one we owned that had power steering. Dad hated it because, at the time in the late 70's/early 80's, it was kind of a pain in the arse to get replacement parts.

A white '72 Buick Riviera boattail. I thought that shift was some star trek shite. My Dad was nearing the end of his car guy stage and this was last grasp.

Close to this is the first one I remember, going to preschool. There were a couple suburbans and another full size van and an Astro van too.

Yes. The middle school was worse. It was about 4x a longer walk.

'65 or '66 Rambler station wagon. The floorboard was rusted out and you could see the road through it.

We ran through so many cars in elementary school. I can't even remember any specific cars. Besides, my dad was driving to work. In order to actually get to school, my brother and I was getting picked up by the church van.
