I was just looking at this, would make it a nightmare flying/traveling on the saturday after thanksgiving in the dallas area and the sunday after in LA. The 12z is roughly 7am sunday morning

I'm not sure I would feel confident in any forecasts more than 5 days out, although I do see that the trend beginning this weekend is for much cooler temperatures through the Thanksgiving break....which would be nice given that Thanksgiving last year was more like a 4th of July climate

GFS was pretty spot on this year with the hurricanes.

that being said 11 days out a lot can change.

What's confusing is that the high is 66 and low is 42 for Baton Rouge and surrounding areas.

Any time snow is predicted that far out around here (Central Alabama), it is a 99.5% guarantee that it will not be anything like snow come the forecasted day.
It will be either A. sunny, B. too warm, or C. both

I dont care if it snows. Just want a solid cold front to get the deer moving and kickstart the rut.

GFS suggests the low between Lake Charles, Lafayette, and Baton Rouge to be between 24-28 degrees Sunday morning @ 6AM.
