I am not a religious guy. I believe in a higher being, but that is about as far as that goes.

I was driving to a doctor’s appointment this morning and my phone was not syncing with my car for GPS (Apple CarPlay) so it was a few seconds delayed. As I was just passing the street I was supposed to take, it told me to “turn right”. Since I missed it I figured I would just circle back. The car behind me did take the turn and was immediately t-boned by an F-150 who did not stop at a red light. Was a moderate wreck, and I feel like I would have walked away but I am confident if I made the right turn I would have been the car impacted.

I have never had an issue with my phone connecting to my car until today, so there is the feeling that it happened for a reason.

TL:DR - Missed my exit and the next car got plowed.

Yes. The vehicle behind you saw Divine and ran into another vehicle.

So God loves you, but hates the other person who got T-boned?

We live in many universes at once and the one we continue to experience is the one in which we have not died until there are no scenarios left in which we can live.

I mean it reminded me of that scene from “We were soldiers” where Gibson said “listen to our prayers and ignore there’s” I guess.

God intervened to frick over the car behind you? I'm not sure that's how it works.

Unless of course the person in the vehicle behind you was huge tPOS.

shite happens every day. Pure coincidence.

If you had turned and gotten smashed would that have meant god was trying to kill you?

No reason. You are no more important than the guy who got hit. Just your lucky day!

I’m not really saying god was saving me or letting the other get get plowed, but some fishy things occurred that normally do not and somehow I made it to my appointment without a scratch and the other guy has a long day ahead of him.

Maybe “divine intervention” is a bad word choice, but perhaps fate/destiny/luck is better?

So, you were the one who was either playing with your GPS or moving too slowly unsure of where you were going, ultimately causing other drivers to become distracted leading to accidents.
