My son is a student at Tech and says he's looking around the room to figure out who is missing from classes today.

On a gorgeous Friday?
I’m going to go with “many.”

I have a question. If the early symptoms are similar to the common cold or flu, how do they tell it is coronavirus? Is there already a test for it?

It's a simple test, so long as you have a lime handy.

So how is seeing who didn't attend class on a Friday going to help protect him from this virus?

I'm pretty sure I didn't say it would.

It's possible though that if someone is missing they may be missing because they are in quarantine.
