Someone on X said Alky unit heater blew up. Take that with a grain of salt.

I've seen several people on Facebook (locals) say Jet/Kerosene heater, which makes sense with the fire. Tube rupture in the heater, lots of stuff that likes to burn.

I can still see the flames and/or the flare in the sky from my front porch

Local news reporting all workers have been accounted for, so that's great news.

Wife works in admin building there. This isn’t gonna help her anxiety of working in admin building refinery.

Thankfully was already gone for the day. No reported injuries thus far.

Local news reporting fire was put out at 330 this morning, shelter in place lifted a bit ago.

Of all of the refinery explosions, Admin buildings are almost always fine. Actual unit workers and sometimes even area houses are more at risk. Tell her to chill out, quit being dramatic.
