Popeyes's product folks are getting smarter. First with the chicken sandwich...

..now with beignets. Easy to make with a huge profit margin and right in with the New Orleans theme. Not sure chocolate was the best first choice but they may have tested a few and decided it sold more.
Now, if they could just get their training and customer service better they would be a home run.

My dream is to have several Popeyes franchises, where you can fight the employees. If you win, you get your food faster and with a discount. You lose, it will be a 20 minute wait.

Last time I went to Popeyes, the experience was way better.
A ~50 year old black woman who opens the window and says "Hey Baby, how was your day today?" is how all Popeyes visits should be, and I'll settle for nothing less now.

I love how people acted like them offering a chicken sandwich was some revolutionary deal. I mean they are known for selling chicken, throw a piece between 2 pieces of bread and you have a chicken sandwich.
