“Just like Tim Hortons opened up 200 new locations back in 2016, Popeyes will be prime for a more global expansion. It doesn't have as wide of a presence as Burger King, which you can find all across America as well as in foreign countries, so an expansion both at home and overseas is likely.

Another possible change is discontinuing use of antibiotics in chicken. This one could take a while to roll out, but the end result could put the chain on the level of Chipotle and Panera, who serve antibiotic-free meat.”

It’s a chicken and egg situation. They hire shitty employees because no decent workers want to work there due to the reputation and potential coworkers, so the dregs of the workforce is all that is available or they would go out of business. Only way they could attract better employees would to pay more than other places and that sure as shite ain’t happening.

No, I haven't noticed. The one in Mandeville is still good.

Pro tip:

Order the mild tenders, not spicy.

Mild still has a little kick, and it doesn't murder your b-hole like the spicy tenders do.

You will thank me later.

Everything BK touches turns to shite! The once great service at Popeye's is going to go downhill fast, just watch.

It doesn’t matter how shitty their service is. The fricking chicken is delicious.

People will put up with shitty service just to get a 3 piece spicy white meat with red beans. Maybe not every week. But they’ll suffer thru it once or twice a month and that’s all corporate needs.
That greasy spicy flavorful chicken skin is worth the shitty service. If not, they’d have fixed customer service years ago

I haven't thought at all about this, but I have been to popeyes twice since last week and can say that both times were fricking disasters. I thought they were just having a couple of bad days, but maybe it does have something to do with the change in ownership.

I’ve always thought Popeyes was overrated. I mean it’s good, but it’s not the holy grail of chicken. That would be Gus’s.

It was in Dallas I’m on vacation, it was a full Latino staff. Came out quick and everything I ordered was correct. Just didn’t have that flavor.

Not sure how burger kings are still open. Absolutely worst run fast food place. I’m sure they will run Popeyes into the ground.

The cashiers consistently get mad and have this bad attitude whenever I ask for anything extra, and I have to consistently pull forward and wait at least 10-15 minutes to get the spicy chicken. Half the time the order isn't even right.
none of this is new with Popeyes
