the popeyes on government disappointed. in the drive thru, i asked for 2 piece spicy white meat. the voice said "it will be a 15 minute wait for spicy........and mild." so i asked "15 minutes for any chicken?" "No" no further explanation.
this is the same place the locked the lobby because nobody showed up after tax refunds came.
my neighbor used to remind me about fast food workers: "if they could do anything else, they would."

You’re not missing out, go to a Classic Chicken and you’ll thro Popeyes in the trash. The sista’s that work the Popeyes on north market Shreveport are the most racist people I’ve ever met, that was 4 years ago, haven’t been back since.

Last time I went it took me 35 minutes to get my Sandwich but it was definitely worth it.
But to give an example of the exemplary service of Popeyes staff, I saw them make and mark my order (no pickles) within 45 seconds of paying. However, they had about 10 family sized orders in front of me, and they went down the list one by one waiting on the chicken to come out while mine was just sitting there. So I waited along with a guy who complained trying to get his 12 piece free for waiting so long, which prompted the manager to come out and give my food in 15 seconds. I might still be waiting to this day if it wasn't for that blessed manager

Is this sandwich really that good?
I havent had it yet as I havent been eating fast food except on sundays and that's reserved for my Wisconsin butter burger at steaknshake on my way in from fishing

I don't know what Popeyes that was, but their breasts are almost always gigantic whenever I eat there. Oddly enough though, you need a magnifying glass to see their legs and wings. And I've had some laughably bad service there a number of times, but I've never had to wait no 40 minutes. That one must really suck.

Once upon a time when I lurked, I had my 7 yr old daughter with me at Popeyes on a Sunday evening about 6:30....girl taking orders is throwing a tantrum about baby daddy behind the counter. The Mgr, a 275lb woman with "Cleon" tattoo on her neck) is trying to keep her focused on job of taking orders, but it isnt going well. Guy in front is gettin pissed about his order.
Said baby daddy pulls up in drive thru,and chaos ensues as follows:
he slept with her stepsister, possible pregnancy (her or step sister not determined) she confronts him before work, he throws her out, no ride to work (howd she get there tonight undetermined) and no place to stay now, begins insulting him thru window, he responds by throwing some of her shite she left at his place her through window (clothes, hair brush, a portable CD player and cigarettes is what I recall seeing) manager grabbed a bat and began walking out side door towards baby daddy. We immediately left in the other direction.
Last thing I heard was Mgr telling old guy shed be right back, and itd be about 7 minutes on his spicy order.

Same here. What's sad is that their English is much easier to understand than the sorry attempts at English that I got the last time I was back in New Orleans and stopped at a Popeye's drive thru.
