Maybe you're coming around. We need a few order of operations threads to get you back to the extremes.

I doubt that half of responders ever been to Ruth's Chris.

I posit this question: what’s worse, someone who hasn’t eaten at Ruth’s Chris or someone that actually thinks going there is a big deal?

I vote for the latter.

It’s a chain steakhouse. Get off your high horse.

That being said, I’d be more than grateful to get a $50 gift card and have a couple drinks and an app at the bar.

Doing well here, still no meat for me since the event.
How are you feeling after quitting?

Tell Mrs Pimp I said hello.

I treat Ruth’s just for what it is. A place to sit around get drunk and eat apps and a steak after a few hours while entertaining clients or just with some of the guys.

I have just received a random Birthday greeting from an out-of-state friend/business associate of significant means and a net worth that exceeds mine by a factor of ten. I am grateful. But yet I wonder, what is this for ?

A glass of wine and a salad ? Two appetizes and the tip ? Two rounds of drinks at the bar?

The biggest difference is no more inflammation and general stiffness - or at least it’s drastically reduced. That’s huge for me . The second thing is that I immediately began to sleep through the night . I woke up refreshed and literally it had been so long that I had forgotten what it was like .

The weight loss is secondary really but I lost 15 lbs like that and then nothing since. I really don’t miss meat at all . Now I haven’t eaten chicken or fish either so I’m getting my protein and some fats very deliberately from other sources. I’m also doing 16 oz of Mrs Pimps mean green juice daily and staying away from anything processed. It’s been surprisingly easy for me - no real cravings.

When I’ve splurged while out I’ve had like veggies and pasta or fried eggplant. So far so good.

It's not bad, but it isn't as good since they moved HQ to Orlando.

Huge beneficial changes right there.
Consider adding some beets to your mean green juice, watch your BP drop.

I have a BP and heart rate app on my phone and can tell the things that impact me. If I eat something salty I can see my BP go up or when I drink beet juice I can see it go down.

Ha, funny you say that ! I alternate a Mean Green and a Beet Juice. Usually two days of one and then two days of the other. The beet juice one has beets, carrots, kale, apple and ginger I think. I have not weaned myself off of salt much, but I don't really think my intake is too bad. My resting heart rate stays between 52-56 but my systolic gets a little high at times. I'm still walking at least 30 miles a week so the blood pressure is generally good. Last year I walked like 1500 miles. Murph likes to scream "idiot" at me as I walk down the street at nine at night. Gotta love Murph.

Wow, that is a lot of walking and an awesome heart rate, mine is usually in the low 70s, with exercise, next on my list, I should be able to get it down as well.

Tell Murph I said Hi.

Check out fatmanrants.com on facebook. He joined a group of guys that was started from a guy in LA. They have literally lost tons of weight. They are runners and eat a plant based diet.

It’s a free $50. If you ever planned to go to Ruth’s even once more in your life, it’s $50!

Now if you never ever not once planned to go to Ruth’s again, then you have a point... you will have to “pay” for a gift. In that case, you should regift because at the end of the day it’s still $50

We eat Ruth Chris about every two weeks here in St Louis. It’s good food and affordable upper scale dining

This thread has been entertaining. LOL @ the polesmoker who can't "leave Ruth's without easily spending $300" on a meal for 2 people.
