but I'm not sure why. I think it's a valid point that if you're going to buy someone a gift, buy them a whole gift
$50 is a whole gift, you fricking imbecile. His gift isn't a meal. It's $50 at the restaurant. Some of yall are pathetic.

This thread wouldn't be complete without LNCHBOX popping in to freak out over a slight difference in opinion regarding something that amounts to jack shite.

You're 100% in the wrong here. Deal with it, you ungrateful bastard.

I may never recover, honestly.

Geez, man. If you don't want the gift certificate, send it to me.
Even if it doesn't cover half the cost of the meal, it's still $50 less you have to pay.

+1. We do agree from time to time

Man this thread got legs and made a lot of people mad. I suspect OP is actually Larry David.

quit being an ungrateful prick, though
I went out of my way not to be. I couldn't have been any more clear, made it any less personal or revealed any less of who the guy is and why he might value the relationship. I even fricking used caps, lol. This thread is about a FIFTY DOLLAR RC gift to a place that costs 150 to use. It's humorous. It's amusing. It creates the kind of universal conundrums we all face in one form or another, the unintended consequence, the ripple in the Universe, etc. It's a Conundrum wrapped in a Dilemma inside a Quandary.
But now I have my answer. It is acceptable to send a one dollar gift certificate to RC because I am an a-hole And frick me. Right in the entitled millennial arse. Or the drooping old guy balls. Depending on the age of the guy doing the insulting.

I feel like we've been agreeing a lot lately. That scares me.

It's not like it's the fricking French laundry. We used to go after most LSU games when I was in high school.

You're the third person to say something like this today. I'm way more reasonable than yall act like I am

I have a similar situation every year from my mother in law: a $40 gift card to Perlis. Not ungrateful but does she not know that buys about one half a polo shirt in there? And the only time I go in there is to use the card. And they expire, or I’d pile them up.

I know how you feel. I got a $50 gift card from Target and it did not cover my bill of $279.43. Can't believe how cheap some people can be.
Posted on 2/26/18 at 3:42 pm to Lsupimp
Geees bro, tell your waitress what you have and to put the card towards the final talley on the bill and tip as you always would.
Not that difficult.
Not that difficult.

What is the minimum amount of a gift certificate you would give to Ruth's Chris ?
$50, unless it was you after reading this thread. I'd give you one for $1.25.
Some people... bitch about getting a $50 gift certificate to Ruth's Chris. They didn't give you a meal at Ruth's Chris. They gave you a gift certificate to help you pay for a meal at Ruth's Chris.

I meant for both of us, not just you.
