Sorry but your thread title instantly made me think of Tool - Invincible

Tears in my eyes, chasing Ponce de Leon's phantom soul
Filled with hope, I can taste mythical fountains
False hope, perhaps
But the truth never got in my way
Before now, feel the sting, feeling time bearing down

Love the pics. I always enjoyed my trips to this area to do some diving.

I’ve seen like twenty better looking cypress trees today at University Lake.

We rented aan AirBnB on the Wachee Weeki during winter and it was fantastic to swim, kayak in the warm water in winter. We rented a small boat with a 9HP motor went the entire length of the spring feed river

I popped into Morrison Springs last year, there had to have been over 100 people there and there was garbage EVERYWHERE.

We tried just last month thinking the crowds wouldn't be there yet. Wrong.

Had to park in one the last spots a quarter mile away just to be greeted with bro rap and weed air. It was like every poor person in the county decide to meet up there.

Not for me.

Went to Wyoming when I was fifteen. Absolutely beautiful country. Backpacked deep in the grand tetons. Kayaked on the snake river. Got chased by a big arse moose.

At night you could see the stars so clear at that elevation. Had to use the bathroom and a deer was fifteen feet away from me, and didn't care I was there. Guess since Yellowstone wildlife is not hunted it didn't spook. One cool fact is the flies. Since the elevation is so high, they are easy to kill. It one lands on your arm, you can go as slow as you want to slap it. They won't move.

We've been to Saratoga twice. Absolutely love it out there.

And you are right about the flies.

Ugly pictures. It just looks like a dirty, murky Louisiana bayou.
